The Engagement Experience
What makes the Brooke Worthington Jewelry experience different?
Every custom engagement ring begins—and ends—with Brooke.
From our very first conversation to sourcing your diamond, refining the design, approving the CAD, overseeing production, and celebrating with you when the finished ring is complete, you’ll work directly with Brooke every step of the way.
There are no commissioned salespeople and no handoffs between departments. Just a thoughtful, highly personal experience designed to help you make one of life’s most meaningful purchases with confidence.
Where do we begin?
Every engagement project begins with a private consultation.
Before we meet, you’ll complete a brief questionnaire about your timeline, budget, and design preferences. This allows our first conversation to focus on what matters most—your story, your priorities, and the ring we’ll create together.
Why is there a consultation fee?
The consultation fee reserves dedicated time with Brooke and allows each appointment to be intentional, personalized, and unhurried.
Designing an engagement ring isn’t simply shopping—it’s a collaborative design process. During your consultation, you’ll receive expert guidance on diamonds, design, materials, and budgeting so you leave feeling educated and confident.
I’ve never purchased a diamond before. Is that okay?
Absolutely.
In fact, most of our clients haven’t.
One of Brooke’s guiding philosophies is that an informed client makes the best decisions. Rather than overwhelming you with industry jargon or endless options, she’ll walk you through the factors that truly matter so you understand the investment you’re making.
Our goal isn’t simply to help you choose a beautiful diamond—it’s to help you understand why it’s the right diamond for you.
How do you source diamonds?
After your consultation, Brooke personally curates a small selection of natural diamonds that best fit your priorities, budget, and design goals.
Rather than presenting dozens of similar stones, she intentionally narrows the field to a carefully selected group, making the process clear, thoughtful, and enjoyable.
Every diamond is chosen with both beauty and long-term value in mind.
Do you work with lab-grown diamonds?
Brooke Worthington Jewelry specializes exclusively in natural diamonds.
Our focus is creating heirloom-quality jewelry designed to be treasured for generations, and natural diamonds align with the philosophy and experience we’ve intentionally built.
If you’re looking for guidance in selecting a natural diamond, we’d be honored to help.
Can I work within a specific budget?
Absolutely.
Nearly every custom engagement begins with a budget, and there’s no expectation that you spend beyond what feels comfortable.
Brooke works backward from your investment to recommend the best possible combination of diamond, design, and craftsmanship—creating a ring that feels beautifully balanced rather than simply maximizing carat weight.
How long does the process take?
Most custom engagement rings take approximately 6–8 weeks from the time your design is finalized and your deposit is received.
If you’re working toward a proposal date or another important milestone, please let us know during your consultation so we can plan accordingly.
Can you create a ring inspired by one I’ve seen online?
Absolutely.
Pinterest boards, saved photos, and inspiration images are always welcome.
Rather than replicating another designer’s work, Brooke uses those references to understand what you’re drawn to before creating a design that’s uniquely yours.
The result is a ring that reflects your story—not someone else’s.
What metals do you recommend?
Every project is different, but Brooke most often recommends 14k yellow gold and/or platinum for engagement rings because of their exceptional durability, natural color, and ability to beautifully showcase diamonds for decades of daily wear.
Material recommendations are always based on long-term performance, not passing trends.
What styles do you gravitate toward?
Brooke’s aesthetic is rooted in timeless design.
Her work favors elegant proportions, thoughtful restraint, and details that will feel just as beautiful thirty years from now as they do today.
Rather than chasing trends, every design is evaluated for both beauty and longevity, creating jewelry intended to become tomorrow’s heirlooms.
What happens after I approve the design?
Once your CAD rendering has been approved, your ring is handcrafted by Brooke’s trusted production partners according to her detailed specifications.
Before delivery, every completed ring is personally reviewed by Brooke and professionally appraised by an independent third party GIA appraiser, ensuring it meets the standards that define Brooke Worthington Jewelry.
I have heirloom diamonds. Can they be incorporated into a new engagement ring?
In many cases, yes.
Some of Brooke’s most meaningful projects begin with family diamonds or heirloom jewelry.
During your consultation, she’ll evaluate your stones and discuss whether they’re a good fit for your new design while preserving the history and significance they already carry.
